It is a legal requirement under
The Health & Safety (Safety Sign
& Signals) Regulation to mark
visible pipework containing or
transporting dangerous
substances and preparations
with a pictogram or symbol
We produce a wide range of
self adhesive tapes which
comply with the recommendations
of BS1710:1984 and where
appropriate with the Health
& Safety (Signs & Signals)
Regulations 1996.
Material
The tapes are self-adhesive
two ply, a printed vinyl
Substrate with a protective
polypropylene laminate.
Method of Application
The tapes should be applied
only to surfaces free from oil
and dirt. The length of the
Tape should be trimmed to
suit the pipe, allowing a
Minimum of 25mm overlap.
Temperature range
- 40°C to + 150°C
